We Are Going On A Trip

Children learn best through their experiences because they are naturally curious, active, and eager to learn and try new things. Field trips help young children learn about their environment, themselves, their communities, and the world at large through hands-on learning and discovery.

Therefore, in conjunction with this month theme (My Home), the school has arranged a field trip for all students to the 'House Of Allah'.

Date : 10th March 2010
Venue : Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Putrajaya(Masjid Besi)
Time : 8.30-11.30am
Attire : LC School Uniform

Among the objectives of the trip are:

- To show children the greater meaning of masjid; to serve as a centre of knowledge and activities for disseminating knowledge.
- To teach Masjid Manners; how to respect and behave in the house of Allah. Some areas to focus on include not running around, cleaning up after themselves in the washroom, lowering the voice, praying in a straight line, dressing properly, and perform a sunnah prayer when they arrive.
- Planting the seeds of loving masjid and relating it to the Islamic way of life.
